Strategy for Improvement of Training System of Company

This thesis focuses on problems related with new graduates at the „Department of New Employees Training“ of TŘINECKÉ ŽELEZÁRNY joint stock Company. The work evaluates to what extent the participants are satisfied with the training period, work of each mentor assigned to them and how they are involved in solving concreate tasks. Later suggestions are made on what measures should be taken to improve the program, for future participants to be satisfied.

My bachelor thesis is concerned with the education of top management in small and medium enterprises focused on “soft skills“ and team cooperation. The study concludes with particular proposals of education modules to help the top management become more effective and beneficial. The analysis of educational needs proceeds from questionnaire investigations, subsequent evaluation and finding the most convenient alternatives of educational platform and techniques clearing the way of raising effectiveness in team and general behaviour of top management.
The Role of an ICU Nurse in DAS Algorithm

We are investigating this topic because there is no complex view of the role of an ICU nurse in difficult airway (DA). This is despite the fact that the nurse is an inseparable part of the team. In the case of inadequate management of the team securing the airway, DA can end up being fatal for the patient. It is necessary to realize that if the nurse knows her role, she can play an important part in the DA and minimize this risk. The main aim of our study was to find out the role of an ICU nurse in DA or in the DAS algorithm to minimize the permanent damage to the patient. The sample of our research consisted of 10 intentionally selected participants, working at the Clinic of Burn Medicine of the Královské Vinohrady University Hospital in the ICU and at the Clinic of Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University and the Královské Vinohrady University Hospital. Our research is qualitative. Data collection was done by semi-structured interview method. Interviews with participants were recorded, then transcribed and presented using annotated transcription. Moral profile of a social worker as a prerequisite for the quality of social work

The diploma thesis focuses on the core and issues related to the work of a social worker and it strives to evaluate the essence of their moral profile. Based on that, it was necessary to define the terms of social work and thus state that a social worker must have a whole range of knowledge, abilities and skills. These include so-called soft skills such as empathy, the ability to listen, the ability to solve conflicts, communication skills. The personal value ladder, characteristics, life views and experience and many others determine the social worker´s approach towards their clients. In the next part I was dealing with ethical dilemmas the social worker faces and they are trying to manage via specific types of approach. The main objective of this thesis was to uncover what kinds of ethically dilemmatic situations the social workers may encounter and what strategies they choose to use in order to manage them.
Development of soft skills trainers competencies: creating educational concepts

This thesis is devoted to the theme of the development of competencies of soft skills trainers. A special attention has been paid to the various roles that a trainer has when performing his/her job and the related competencies that are essential for high-quality mastering of this profession. The focal points are the possibilities of development of trainers' teaching competence within formal and informal education that a trainer has during preparatory as well as further education of trainers with special emphasis on the methods that can be employed to achieve this education. The empiric part of this thesis maps the ways of acquiring trainer's competencies as they occur in practice, their connection with further professional development. At the same time it verifies the suitability of the methods that are used to develop competencies. Based on the analysis of information provided by the respondents and study of relevant literature, a methodological concept of education of a trainer has been developed.
Creation of an educational course from the lector's perspective in a corporate education environment

The diploma thesis is construed in the context of corporate education of employees. Its objective is to examine the process of creating an educational course from the perspective of a teacher of further education. The paper presents corporate training of employees as a systematic process in the context of human resources management and development. It underlines its systematic approach and coherence with other activities of the organization. The diploma thesis deals in more detail with the essential methods of development and education of employees applied both in the workplace and outside of it. Furthermore, the work describes the term of methods, presents their basic classification, ways of using them in the educational process and briefly characterizes them. It defines the relationships between the terms of employee, human resource and human capital and clarifies the concepts of educational project, subjects of education and other fundamental notions related to the development and training of employees in the organization. Career skills of students

The objective of this work was to analyze the career skills of students of the Faculty of Economics of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice in relation to the subsequent career of graduates in selected work positions. The thesis works with the database of personality test results of students and with the database of graduate students. The work is examining whether there are statistical differences between the students of different study programs. Results of soft skills of graduates are compared to soft skills established by NSP.
Development and education of employees in a medium sized organization

This diploma thesis analyses education and development of employees in selected organization. The aim of my thesis is to evaluate the current system of education and development of employees in selected organization. Theoretical part defines the basic terminology, which is more elaborated in practical part. Practical part consists of description of the organization, description of education that is currently being used and also questionnaires for employees, and unstructured interview. Questionnaires include twenty questions, that were given to the employees of selected business. Most of the employees were very willing and helpful. Questionnaire contains questions targeted at education and development of employees. Output of these questionnaires is finding, whether the organization motivates employees enough to increase their education and whether it offers or mediates sufficient amount of methods to increase education. The work is concluded with proposals and suggestions for making the education system more efficient.
Managerial competences in EF JU student´s development

The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of managerial competences of the students of the Faculty of Economics of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice who study program Management and Business Economics with a proposal how to develop core competences to increase their competitiveness in the labour market. The results are based on the questionnaire survey of the students and managers of companies, focusing on the soft skills established by the Central Database of Competences.
